The library is closed on New Year's Day, Martin Luther King Jr. Day, President's Day, Easter, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterran's Day, Thanksgiving Day, Day before Christmas, Christmas Day and New Years Day.

Book Drop Hours: Mon-Fri 6am-10pm; Sat-Sun 9:30am-8pm.

About Central Library

The Central Library currently occupies 1 million items and materials in the 9,906 book shelves available for books. To handle such a large collection of books and to adjust to the technology driven age, the Central Library operates and maintains a well constructed technology-based system which is conveniently located and operated out of the public eye. Along with this book-handling system and wireless internet access, the building's digital and technology driven ideas have expanded the amount of available computers for public use from 75 to more than 400.
