Description:

The 188-acre Woodland Park Zoo features 1,145 different animals that include 290 different species from all over the world, including elephants, giraffes, rainforest animals, and the increasingly rare Jaguar. The zoo takes up approximately one half of Woodland Park in the Fremont area, just north of Green Lake. One of the zoo's more popular exhibits is the recently constructed primate exhibit that takes visitors along a meandering pathway that leads them through the habitats of gorillas, chimps, and orangutans.

Open early Oct - late Apr: daily 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; early May - late Sep: daily 9:30 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.

Early Oct - late Apr: Adults $11; Children (3-12) $8; Children under 3 are free; early May - late Sep: Adults $15; Children (3-12) $10; Children under 3 are free.
